“ Met my Parents here after completing my car theory test over the road and was congratulated by the warm and welcoming staff! The celebratory beer straight from the tank was excellent and my parents said the food was amazing as well. unfortunately didn't have any cash on any of us to tip but will be back again and wont make the same mistake. wonderful restaurant! ”
“ Friendly and Welcoming Spot in Liverpool I recently visited Albert’s Schenke in Liverpool and was pleasantly surprised: • Nice decor – warm and stylish, with a relaxed vibe. • Friendly atmosphere – staff were welcoming and service was good. • Average prices – fair for the area and the quality of drinks. • Limited wine menu – a good range of IPAs on tap, though I was disappointed they didn’t have a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a quick drink. Would recommend stopping in for a pint, but wine lovers may find the selection a bit limited. ”
“ I came in for a quick drink with a large stag party, we were very lucky to find a seat around one of the large fire pit areas, which was really toasty, although you wouldn't want to sit in front of it all night! Service was quick even though it was a busy bar, and I got myself a strawberry beer, as it was something a little different. If you haven't had fruit beers before I highly recommend you give it a go. The beer wasn't too sweet or overpowering, and was the perfect blend of fruit and beer. ”
“ An excellent restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were very generous. When making the reservation, I mentioned that the dinner was for my husband's birthday, and he was pleasantly surprised with a special dessert and warm congratulations. Everything was perfect — thank you for the wonderful hospitality and outstanding service! ”
“ Great pub/bar/restaurant and such a good atmosphere. During the colder months it has a lovely fire on. Staff are prompt in taking your order and always service with a smile. Great place to go for a few drinks and also if you want to stop for food. Would recommend you book for food as it fills up quickly and isn’t huge. Usually has live singers on the weekends. Great selections of ales, spirits and wines. ”
“ Absolutely delicious, service was amazing and the food is just indescribable as it was all fresh and the portions are massive. Neither of us could finish it. I had the kaiserwurst and mum had the fish and chips and there was actually cheese inside the sausage it was very good and would recommend. All the staff are lovely. Have been here a couple of times now and it is delicious ”
